March Overview
March is the month spring truly starts to show. Primulas will be one of the first plants to flower as well as crocuses and many early bulbs. Cherry trees will be covered in white and pink blossom and Magnolias will be about to burst open. We are likely to get even a few days of sun to force them open. At his time of year wafts of the evergreen tree Azara microphylla, if you have one, fill the air with a strong vanilla fragrance that is simply magical. Daphne odora will be powering away with its fragrance too.

This is a really good time of year to repair the lawn as it can grow and recover quickly. Feeding, weeding, seeding or turfing can all be done over the next three months but earlier is better.
